BYTE: Number Slaying Arenaa

BYTE is a merge-and-consolidate arena. You are a number. Eating grows you, and growth periodically carries: every pair of equal blocks on your tail fuses into one worth double, so the moment you get more valuable is also the moment you get shorter. That carry is the whole game. Your body is a positional number written in blocks instead of digits — eating a pip is incrementing it, and one big pickup can collapse a long, ragged tail into a single high block in one visible chain, the way 0111 becomes 1000. TWO INPUTS. Point where you want to go. Boost when you need the speed. Nothing else to learn before your first bite — no ability bar, no cooldowns, no tutorial gate. EAT SMALL. DODGE BIG. EQUAL BOUNCES. A block below your rank is food. A block above it is a wall. Two equal ranks meeting head-on don't merge and don't kill each other — they bounce, and the standoff gets settled by who out-maneuvers who, not by a coin flip or whoever's packet arrived first. YOUR TAIL IS A WEAPON, AND A LIABILITY. Cut a rival at the segment you can outrank and you take that block and everything behind it. Aim low and you get almost nothing. Aim for the block worth the most and you're betting you can reach it before they turn. Getting fat off a lucky pickup makes you a target the instant you slow down to enjoy it — the fix is to keep moving until the carry finishes folding you back down. FOUR WORLDS BEHIND FOUR DOORS. Everyone starts on Ridge, and Ridge has doors. Walk through one with your rank and your tail intact and you're somewhere else entirely: a cave with centipedes and bats, a rainforest with vine-snakes and a trapdoor spider, an ocean with sharks and moray eels, a desert with sand-worms and antlions. Wildlife plays by the same number you do — outrank it and it's dinner, get outranked and it's the last thing you see. Die anywhere and you respawn there, not back at the door.
