Crown and Plunder

Crown and Plunder is a free 3D action RPG and castle builder inspired by the original The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. Raid floating castles, fight their guards, avoid traps and bring home better equipment, then build a castle for other players to raid. Two playable heroes Play the armoured Vanguard with melee combos, Whirlwind, Shield Rush and Dodge, or the spellcasting Arcanist with ranged bolts, Fireball, Frost Ring and Blink. Each hero has separate equipment, skills and progression. Build and raid Snap together rooms and corridors, recruit guards, place traps and unlock the Ember Dragon defender. Clear your own layout to validate it before publishing. Raid authored challenges, CPU rivals and published player castles; review defence reports and take revenge after an online raid. Online or offline Online play uses a separate game account and shares progress between the Windows and browser versions. Offline play needs no account or server connection and keeps separate local progress. How to play Follow the itch.io link for the Windows download and browser version. Desktop is the intended experience; the Windows download is recommended for the best performance. Mobile web includes touch controls and landscape layouts, but performance varies by device. Fresh mobile profiles use the Low performance preset. Desktop controls: WASD or left-click to move; hold left click on enemies to attack; Q/F for skills; Space to Dodge/Blink; R for a healing potion; E for the treasury and loot. Playable alpha 0.1.1.
