About Void Descent

Void Descent A fast-paced space survivor-like auto-shooter built entirely in raw HTML and modular JavaScript. Designed for instant, high-fidelity browser play on desktop and mobile with zero downloads or installs. Heavily influenced by the tactical build-crafting of Soulstone Survivors and The Spell Brigade, it is built for quick, intense sessions where you can jump straight into a run. Unique Mechanics: Time Dilation: Let go of your mouse or lift your thumb from the screen to slow the game down to 10% speed. Navigate tight spots or pause the action instantly without losing a run. Full Dual-Platform Support: Locked to portrait mode for one-handed mobile play, with full WASD and refined hold-to-move mouse support for desktop. Universal Save System: Seamlessly migrate your ship unlocks and Nexus progress between your phone and computer using a manual import/export system. The Fleet & Build Variety: Unlock 6 distinct ships (from the zone-control Engineer to the glass-cannon Reaper), each featuring unique primary weapons and tactical roles. Leverage the Augment Lab and Nexus Ascension modifiers to theorycraft over 10 million possible build combinations per run. Built entirely with lightweight web tech and balanced continuously using community and stream feedback.

This was a blast to play! + Addictive gameplay loop + Easy to understand; easy to play + Nice graphics + Great for short play sessions What I think needs to be improved - Enemy variety; the bulk of combat is the same basic drones the entire game - Nexus Prime has waaaay too much HP and considering the rather basic mechanics, becomes stale and boring quick - On Desktop I got stuck in vertical mode for some reason (bug?)
