**Adventurers are coming for your Heart. Make them regret it.** *We Are Dungeon!* flips the dungeon crawl around: you don't play the heroes — you're the dungeon they're exploring. Parties of paladins, rogues, mages and clerics push deeper room by room in real time, while you match runes on the Forge to create traps, curses, lures and monsters, then place them right in their path. ### How it plays - **Match runes, forge Rites.** Swap runes on an 8×8 board. Link 3+ of a school — Beasts, Traps, Terror, Temptation or Arcane — and combine schools to unlock 41 Rites, from Spike Traps and Skeleton Ambushes to slowing nightmares and treasure that bites back. - **Place them where it hurts.** Plant Rites in rooms and corridors ahead of the party. Lure the greedy, terrify the timid, isolate the stragglers, and hold them in place while the trap springs. - **Study your prey.** Every intruder has a personality, courage, greed and hidden weaknesses. The longer you watch them, the more you learn. - **Gamble on Chaos.** Forge a massive chain and you get the **Chaos Reliquary**: a monster, a windfall, a curse… or a gift for the very heroes you're trying to kill. The runes that made it shape what's inside. - **Grow between descents.** Spend Embers to expand your dungeon, strengthen its rooms and unlock new powers.
