Soaked.io

Soaked is a short, loud, pixel-art arcade game about the one thing every cab driver secretly wants to do: hit the puddle at exactly the right moment. Pick a cab, roll out into a rainy night city and aim for the puddles beside the curb. Send a wave of street water over whoever's standing there: brides and grooms, chefs, pilots, scientists, grannies, a DJ, a mime. Nobody stays dry. Just leave the cops alone. Splash one and they'll follow you. 14 cabs, 6 paint jobs. Unlock new cabs as your best run gets longer. Every cab has its own perk: bigger tips, a longer combo window, wider spray, quicker steering. 40+ kinds of fare. 1 cop. The whole street is out tonight, walking toward and away from the curb. Gold stars mark the rare, high-value fares. Splash a cop and you lose a wiper. Police pursuits. Every lost wiper brings a police car onto your tail. Grab a spare gold wiper to shake one off. Lose all three and they pull you over. Big puddles, big speed. Big puddles pay 1.5× and kick the cab forward with a burst of speed. Tidal puddles soak both sides of the street for 2×. Combos up to ×5. Back-to-back soaks climb the multiplier. Seven dry seconds and it resets. Gutter runs. Ride a flooded gutter along the curb and drench the whole queue. They talk back. Speech bubbles and little voices when you get them: "MY DAY!", "YOUNG MAN!", "PULL OVER!" A wet city at night. Streetlights, headlights and neon reflect off the road, rain falls in layers, and from the Downpour on, lightning splits the sky. It gets worse. Drizzle, Downpour, Storm, Monsoon, Biblical. Faster, wetter, more cones. Global leaderboard, shared with soaked.io, showing which cab each driver ran. Names are checked before they go up. Plays on phone and PC Phone: drag to steer, double-tap to honk. Supported Android phones buzz on every splash. Mouse: the taxi follows your pointer. Click to honk. Keyboard: ← → or A / D.
