About Spaceploration: A Minimalist Space Journey
Spaceploration is a cozy solar-system flight game. You're a lone astronaut aboard a small spaceplane, beginning in orbit around Earth and drifting slowly outward past the planets. There's no combat, no timer, no fail state — just presence: beautiful, atmospheric scenes that reward calm exploration.
— Drift, don't rush —
• Real planet order, colors, relative sizes, and rotation, with distances gently compressed so travel feels intimate rather than tedious.
• Glowing atmospheres, soft sunlight, deep starfields, and bloom carry the mood.
• 20 major moons from NASA/JPL data — Earth's Moon, the Martian moons, the Galilean moons, seven Saturnian moons, five Uranian moons, and Triton.
• Saturn's lit rings, assisted low orbits you can slip into, and a soft codex that offers a real fact and a poetic line as you approach each world.
• Photo mode for keeping the views that stay with you.
— Controls —
• Mouse — steer (click the view to capture the mouse)
• W / S — thrust forward / reverse · A / D — strafe · R / C — rise / fall · Q / E — roll
• G — Jet Thruster / Cruise Hold · Shift — boost
• F — fast travel (W/S sets the pace) · Space — hold to brake / leave orbit
• V — cockpit / chase view · P — photo mode · M — mute · Esc — pause
Also playable on touch devices in landscape (dual virtual sticks).
— Tips —
• Hold Space to brake; tap 0 for a full stop.
• Fast travel (F) is the quickest way between worlds and eases off automatically near atmospheres.
— Credits —
• Planet & moon surface maps: NASA/JPL (via Solar System Scope)
• Ambient audio: the Freesound community
• Built with Three.js
Best experienced with sound on and in fullscreen. No download needed. it runs right in your browser.
