Smoothie Chaos

Smoothie Chaos is a co-op first-person restaurant game for 2 to 6 players. You raise cute little slimes, feed them and watch them grow. Then you throw them in a blender and serve them to your customers as smoothies. You and your friends run a small smoothie bar in a glossy, sunny city. Order slimes and supplies from the office PC, pick them up at the depot, and look after them in the garden corrals. Feed them, pet them, give them names. Every slime has its own personality: some are shy, some are bold, some are a little too curious about the kitchen. Feed them the right things and they evolve into something new. A Yellow fed a light bulb becomes a tiny star, and a Green that tastes a finished smoothie learns to imitate other slimes. Some evolutions are lovely, and some will cause you trouble. Each evolution opens new recipes. Mix the right slimes and ingredients in the blender and you get a menu item customers will pay well for. Get it wrong and you’ve made a Suspicious Smoothie, which is a gamble at the counter. Pour, serve, wash the cups, mop up the trails your slimes leave behind, and keep the dining room happy before the rush hits. It doesn’t stay calm for long. A Shadow slime steals the most valuable thing in sight and hides it. A Leech latches onto your customers. A Fire slime turns into a hot potato nobody wants to hold. One day, two slimes may cause an eclipse that turns noon into night. Push your luck and the police start asking questions about your customers, and about where some of them went. Under the street there’s a sewer where escaped slimes end up, along with an abandoned lab and its notes. Somewhere nearby there’s something big waiting in the pool.
